5th Classics Car Meet Breakfast and Boot Sale @ Classics Museum, Railside Place - 8:30am

You can come for a buffet breakfast or just come along for a coffee and catch up with other car enthusiasts.
Tell your friends to bring their classics along to meet up with other like minded folks.

: Boot sale sellers are supposed to be in a Classic Car or Van. Parts for sale must be automotive parts or automobillia only. No fees to sell or browse.
(A simple definition of a classic car = Pre 86 and/or anything interesting e.g Not often seen in supermarket car parks!)

***30th Anniversary Weekend Celebrations

Come help us celebrate - All past and present members are welcome, and prospective members too.

Minis preferred but not essential except for the Show & Shine.

Program of events.

Saturday 18th
Round the Bridges Tour - Bring Picnic Lunch
9:00am - Meet at The Base "North Car Park" adjacent Te Rapa Road, just North of the main entrance to The Base.

9:30am - Depart for the "Round the Bridges Tour".
This will be a find your own way with a few guidelines and targets.
The feature stop off will be the "C & R Contractors Muscle Car and Truck collection" in Hautapu. Here we will be able to check out the amazing collection of vehicles and gran a coffee.

We will then carry on to a suitable location to have that Picnic Lunch you brought with you. Bring your chairs or picnic rug also.

After lunch we will convoy on over some Mini friendly roads and expect to be back in Hamilton around 4:00pm.

7:00pm - We have a booking at the Hamilton Workingmens Club in Commerce Street, Frankton.
We need numbers attending for this by Wednesday 15th May.

Sunday 19th
Show & Shine
9:30am - Show & Shine @ Classics Museum, Railside Place.
As most of the cars will have been on the run yesterday we won't be to worried about the shine bit but it would be nice to have a good display of Club cars.

Google It Tour
11:30am - Depart on the "Google It Tour"
We are following Google Maps instructions (with a little tweak) and heading to Nikau Caves Cafe for lunch @ around 1:00pm.
After lunch we will head home over more lovely Mini roads and should be back in Hamilton around 3:30pm

There is no need to register for the weekend except that we will need to know numbers for Saturday Dinner and Sunday Lunch.

25th Wellington Triumph Club and Mini Racing Drivers present Taupo Track Day

Hosted by the Wellington Triumph Sports Car Club. They have hired Taupo Motor Racing Circuit's Track 3 and are holding races as well as single and dual car sprints.

Details, entry forms and supplementary regulations have been emailed to all club members 30th April 2019.

If you haven't received an email and wish to do so please let the club know your correct email address and we will forward you the information.

NOTE: Those entrants who wish to drive in the dual sprints and races, please note the changes in Motorsport Regulations around protective clothing.
